About the Captain
I am Captain Tony, a United States Coast Guard Merchant Marine Officer Master Captain, certified to 50 gross tons.  As a young kid I grew up in Point Pleasant, New Jersey.  We lived on the Beaver Dam Creek and would catch snapper, eel, and crabs right from our dock.  My dad had a 28-foot Silverton Super Sport boat docked out back that we would take out of the Manasquan inlet.  We would catch flounder, bluefish, black-sea bass, strippers, and tuna.   My dad was always surprised of my love for offshore fishing because I would get sick most of the time.  However, the next weekend would roll around and I was ready to get back on the water.  In 1979 we moved to southwest Florida where we fished from Sarasota to Boca Grande.  We mainly fished inshore for trout, snook and reds.   In the early nineties, I moved to Cocoa Beach Florida where I ran into a high school buddy that got me "hooked" on  offshore fishing again.  We would head out of Port Canaveral and catch large dolphin, cobia, red snapper, grouper, and triple tail.  That's when I rekindled my love for offshore fishing.   Those were some good times.  Now, I live In Sarasota, Florida were I take out charters, friends, and family for there own off shore experience.  We mainly catch king and spanish mackerel, grouper, bonito, cobia, snapper, and occasinally, some Dolphin.
About the Vessel

The Blue Water Bound is a 1994 Sea Cat catamaran center console fishing/dive boat powered by twin 2006 90hp four stroke Yamaha outboards.  Its overall length is 21' 8" and its beam is 8' 6".  The boat only drafts 12" and can go were many larger boat can't.  Due to the catamaran's hull design, it is a very sea-worthy offshore fishing machine.  The boat does not pitch back and forth like the traditional v-hull, making it a very stable and dry ride. This is good news for the angler with unworthy sea legs.  Taking into account the design of the hull and Yamaha's four stroke technology with fuel management system, this is an extremely fuel efficient vessel compared to other twin screw v-hulls of comparable size.   The boat is equipped with a reliable Raymarine electronics package starting with a C80-series display which allows the captain to view the state-of-the-art digital fish/depth finder, chartplotter, and radar.  To listen to those awesome tunes while on board, there is a waterproof Fusion stereo system that is Bluetooth compatible so you can stream your favorite songs.  The center of the boat houses a large tee-top, and on the bow, there is a large Bimini top to keep everyone out of the sun if desired.  The front of the boat, with its squared off design, makes a great casting platform for fishing or throwing a cast net.  There is a 30-gallon live well aft to keep the bait alive and frisky.  Lastly, the boat is also diver friendly.  It allows for easy access when re-entering from the water, and is rigged to securely hold eight air tanks.
